Sarah's Story

Sarahs early career at UHCW has progressed from cleaner, to Healthcare Support Worker in theatres.

Wishing to develop herself further, Sarah then applied for a Nursing Associate apprenticeship, as this allowed her to work and earn simultaneously, which was important to support her young family.

Sarah was initially nervous of the academic requirements of the course, but reassured by the support
available, decided to take a leap of faith, and has never looked back- emphasising that:

“The best thing about the Nursing Associate qualification is thatit has allowed me to reach my potential and contribute towards providing excellent care to our patients in a new role”.
