Joby Cyriac

I chose to work at UHCW as it’s a teaching hospital with lots of opportunities for progression.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, it was also important that essential knowledge regarding mental health support in acute settings was available to all staff, and UHCW offered exactly this.

The thing I enjoy most about working at the Trust is the great job satisfaction I feel. This enables me to offer a high-quality service that keeps patients and staff safe. I also feel supported in my career progression through regular appraisals with my senior leaders, 1:1 support and ongoing training in many different areas.

UHCW offers a great learning opportunity for aspiring nurses, with plenty of room for progression. The Trust also prioritises staff wellbeing with the offer of psychological support and green spaces, including an outdoor gym.
