Welcome to Coventry And warwickshire VCFSE Collaborative

The Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise Collaborative is a network of organisations, groups, charities, enterprises and communities, from across the Coventry and Warwickshire region, who are working together to deliver the mission and priorities of the Integrated Care System (ICS).

Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board have formed agreements for engaging with and embedding the local VCFSE sector in system level governance and decision making. 

A Reference Group formed of VCFSE representatives, supports the VCFSE Collaborative across Coventry and Warwickshire, linking with the and Integrated Care Board (ICB).

Purpose 

The Collaborative has been formed to enable integration of the VCFSE within the ICS, due to its vital role in reducing health inequality, particularly through prevention as a:

  • Community engager and conduit
  • Service provider

The Collaborative enables partners to engage meaningfully with the sector through a framework that facilitates:

  • Reaching people and communities often not met through traditional health and social care pathways
  • Support of innovative and creative ways of delivering services
  • Delivery of Prevention Community strategies

Principles

The Collaborative will strive to:

  • Provide equitable opportunity to the sector through representation and collaborative approaches to co-design, co-production and delivery
  • Act as the point of contact for system partners to talk to, engage with and offer new opportunities to the sector
  • Support reducing the risk of duplication to both funders and the population

Membership

Membership of the VCFSE Collaborative is open to any sector organisation across the Coventry and Warwickshire region aligning with the ICS geographical footprint.

Organisations who wish to join will be invited to complete a registration form (found here) which sets out mutual expectations and collects relevant information which will be used in accordance with GDPR policies to tailor information, opportunities and add to mailing lists.

Representatives from Collaborative membership organisations will be invited to apply to join the Reference Group at such times when spaces are available. Suitability to join the Reference Group will be considered by current members as per agreed criteria.

This model of working has been identified to support the effective and equitable delivery of its principles and purpose.


The Reference Group provides support, guidance, advice and leadership to the Collaborative, ensuring a framework for the sector is in place that enables involvement and engagement with the priorities of the Integrated Care System.

The Reference Group will define, agree and monitor the governance, processes, including but limited to representation, actions, impact, outcomes and key performance indicators, as appropriate.

Members of the Reference group will be ratified at the Annual Assembly as per the *Criteria and Selection process and *Role Profile agreed by the group and will be based on experience, knowledge, skills and behaviours required to execute and lead the dynamic work of the Collaborative.

An Independent Chair will be appointed for this specific role via the Reference group.

The Reference Group will form subgroups in an agile way that reflects the work needed at any one time.To ensure there is suitable engagement, intelligence building and development of and with the VCFSE, Sub Reference, Task and Finish and Project Groups will be formed based on the following three categories (not exhaustive):

  • Ongoing VCFSE networks that align themselves with the priorities of the ICS
  • Task and Finish Groups that help deliver a specific project over set timescale
  • Specialist sub reference groups reflecting specific communities of interest and health issues

Warwickshire & Solihull Community and Voluntary Action (CAVA) is recruiting for a ICS VCFSE Collaborative Programme Manager (Coventry & Warwickshire)

Salary: £43,775 – pro rata
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: Permanent subject to funding
Location: Hybrid/Office (Leamington Spa) with regular travel across Coventry and Warwickshire

We are seeking a motivated individual with strong project and programme management experience to join our team.

As the ICS VCFSE Collaborative Programme Manager, you will work across Coventry and Warwickshire, to mobilise and embed the priorities of the ICS VCFSE Collaborative, especially through prevention as a delivery partner and through community engagement.

The Key Responsibility for this role includes the delivery of the VCFSE Reference Group’s work plan, driving initiatives and growing membership to integrate the ICS by working closely with the VCFSE and wider ICS partners to deliver the ICS Community Strategy.

This role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact to reduce health inequality within the VCSE sector and work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with ICS partners and the wider sector.
