Taking care of your mental wellbeing

Many people find their mental wellbeing dips during winter. Shorter days and longer nights can reduce social contact and increase feelings of loneliness and isolation. There are less opportunities for spending time and exercising outdoors – both beneficial to mental health and wellbeing.

To help combat this, health and social care organisations have teamed up with local councils in Coventry and Warwickshire to bring together information and resources to help you and your loved ones stay active and well this winter.

Visit the Boost your Health Esteem pages to find out more about how you can support friends and family over winter and also access information about getting and staying active and boosting mental wellbeing.

If you think you would benefit from free, safe and anonymous mental wellbeing counselling and support visit Wellbeing for Warwickshire or call 0800 616171.
