Workstream approaches

We have a number of key workstreams that align with the priorities of the Core2-Plus5 model and the NHS Long Term Plan. These are shown below, and as work progresses within each workstream details will be shared of the ways in which we are working to tackle health inequalities.

  • Maternity
  • Hypertension case finding
  • Cancer early diagnosis 
    - In November 2023, the NHS Bus-Ting Cancer tour visited Coventry, raising awareness of cancer signs and symptoms.

Each workstream has a dedicated Lead and will work with the Health Inequalities Programme Managers to identify specific actions to tackle health inequalities in their service area.

We also have enabling workstreams which will help us to achieve our goals around healthcare inequalities. These include:
