People need health and care services more over winter as the weather gets colder and this winter will put great pressure on the NHS and local care services to meet the increased demand. 

Our priority is our local residents and a lot of work has been going on to prepare in Coventry and Warwickshire for this busy time. 

Over these pages you can find out some of the detail about what we are doing to offer better access to GP services, provide mental health support, help people to receive care in their own homes and care for those patients who do need to be admitted to hospital. We’ve also got information about how people and communities can support themselves to stay well and look after their own health and wellbeing.
