Lung
Lung cancer is one of the most common and serious types of cancer in the UK – each year 47,000 people are diagnosed with lung cancer.
If you have lungs, you can get lung cancer. It is more common as you get older - around 45% people diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK are aged 75 and older.
Finding lung problems early can make a big difference.
If you are aged between 55-74 and smoke, or have ever smoked, you may be invited for a free NHS Lung Health Check.
