Improving access to health & care services and increasing trust & confidence

We know that one of the biggest priorities for communities across Coventry and Warwickshire is ensuring timely access to high quality health services. We also know that trust and confidence in health services is variable across groups and communities and from service to service. Therefore, one of our priorities is to improve access to and trust in health and care services.

There are many challenges facing the NHS, including a growing and ageing population that has more complex needs, a large elective waiting list and continuing financial pressures. These challenges make it extremely important that we work collaboratively across system partners to find new, better ways to work together.

There are four key areas which we need to focus on in order to improve access and trust. They are:
