PRESCRIPTION ORDERING DIRECT CLOSES

The Prescription Ordering Direct service for Coventry and Warwickshire has now closed. As of now, responsibility for prescription ordering has transitioned back to GP practices.
Patients who used the POD service are strongly encouraged to sign up for the NHS App or the Patient Access app if they haven't already done so. These apps offer convenient access to a range of NHS services, including ordering repeat prescriptions and nominating a preferred pharmacy for collection. More information about the NHS App can be found here.
For patients unable to use the NHS App, alternative arrangements should already have been made to ensure continued access to prescription ordering and collection services. If this is not the case for you, or someone close to you, then you should contact your GP practice to discuss your options. Information should also be available via your GP practice’s website.
For Coventry residents, there is also extra support available to help you get started with the NHS App, with drop-in sessions at a number of community hubs.
