Our partner Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is asking residents and professionals to share their views on domestic abuse to improve services and support.
Residents Survey
Covid-19 has seen many of us having to change the way in which we interact with friends and family. For victims of Domestic Abuse, this has been even harder, especially when home is not a safe environment for themselves or their children.
If you or someone you know is or has been subjected to emotional, physical, financial abuse or coercive control, WCC are keen to hear from you.
WCC are in the process of reviewing the Warwickshire Domestic Violence Service, which is currently provided by Refuge. WCC is reaching out to as many Warwickshire residents as they can to understand people’s experiences of Domestic Abuse, and experiences of accessing support in Warwickshire.
WCC is keen to understand whether residents in Warwickshire are aware of and know how to access support. WCC would like to understand whether the service is meeting need and to gain an insight into the experiences that people have had with the service provided.
Your views will also help WCC shape and improve the service that it provides in the future.

WCC would also like to welcome feedback from friends and family, even if it’s only a suspicion, that someone you know is or has been a victim of Domestic Abuse. If you suspect that a friend or family member is a victim of Domestic Abuse you can find help here. If you are experiencing Domestic Abuse, you are not alone, please contact WCC Domestic Violence Service on 0800 408 1552.
Professionals Survey
Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner are in the process of re-commissioning the Warwickshire Domestic Abuse Accommodation and Support Service. The service is currently provided by Refuge.
To inform our Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment, we are carrying out a variety of engagement exercises to understand awareness of Domestic Abuse, our current commissioned service offer, whether it meets need and what can be improved. We are keen to hear the views of as many multi-agency professionals as possible across Warwickshire.
We would therefore be grateful if you could complete the professionals survey by clicking here and share this survey with your teams and providers that encounter victims-survivors of Domestic Abuse.
