What is an MVP?
A Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is a NHS working group: a team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care.
The group will be an independent formal multidisciplinary committee which comes together to influence and share in the decision-making of the Local Maternity System and its constituent partners.
The group will be underpinned by practical support from local commissioners and providers.
Further information can be found on the national Maternity Voices Partnership website: http://nationalmaternityvoices.org.uk/
