A new online hub is helping people across Coventry and Warwickshire explore the wide range of career opportunities available in health and care.
Whether someone is taking their first steps into the world of work, considering a change in career path or looking to return to work after time away, Your Health and Care Career Here brings together information and resources to help them explore their options.
The hub provides a single destination for careers information, education, training and workforce development across Coventry and Warwickshire, with contribution from health and care professionals across our system, helping people discover the different routes available and take the next step in their career.
Helping people find a career that’s right for them
There are many different routes into health and care, with opportunities for people at different stages of their working lives.
The first area of the hub, Your Career Starts Here, is designed to help people explore the range of careers available locally and understand where their interests, skills and experience could take them.
For young people starting to think about their future, it provides career inspiration and information about local opportunities. It can also support parents, carers, teachers and careers advisers to have conversations about the different career paths available across health and care.
For those already in the workforce, the hub can provide a starting point for exploring a new direction. This includes people considering a career change as well as those returning to work who want to understand the opportunities available across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Your Health and Care Career Here will continue to develop, with dedicated areas providing more detailed information about individual professions and career pathways.
The first specialist area, Your Pharmacy Career Here, will support prospective and existing pharmacy professionals to explore profession-specific information, education and training opportunities, career progression and workforce support.
Further career areas such as Social Care and Allied Health Professions will be added over time, creating a growing resource where people can explore different professions and find information to support them throughout their career journey.
