NHS COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE ICB HOLDS ITS FIRST ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Thank you to everyone who attended the NHS Coventry and Warwickshire ICB AGM, which took place on Thursday 21st September. There was an excellent attendance from across system partners to discuss the future of health and care in Coventry and Warwickshire.

The ‘integration marketplace’ was held ahead of the formal AGM and offered attendees the opportunity to talk directly to teams from across the system about the work that is being done to deliver on our priorities and provide the best possible health and care services to our local communities. There were some excellent discussions about how we can build upon and improve the partnership working that takes place between system partners and we look forward to seeing the results of these discussions moving forward.

Once the formal AGM began, Phil Johns, our Chief Executive, presented our annual report and discussed some of our key challenges and achievements, before a finance update, and a look ahead to the future of health and care in Coventry and Warwickshire led by our Chair, Danielle Oum.

To end the day, there was an opportunity for attendees to share their views on what our priorities mean for them in a facilitated engagement session. There were some fascinating insights shared by each of the groups and it was interesting to hear the different perspectives in the room. We are currently in the process of collating the feedback from the session and will share that in due course.

A brochure, The Future of Health and Care, was created for the AGM which outlined our priorities for the health and care system in Coventry and Warwickshire - you can view that here.

Below are a few of the photos that were taken on the day:
