Call to local community to help shape future maternity services
11 January 2019
George Eliot Hospital is asking pregnant women, new mums and their families to help shape the future of the maternity services they offer.
The maternity unit has organised a special ‘Whose Shoes?’ workshop event where members of the public and patients will be invited to have their say about the services. They will have the chance to talk about their views, their experiences and their ideas about how we can improve maternity care at the hospital at a highly interactive and fun workshop, which will be taking place on Thursday, 31st January from 11am-2pm.
Grandparents, partners, friends and newborn babies are all welcome to attend, and the ideas shared will play a part in developing and further improving maternity services for local women over the coming years.
The event will be held at the hospital’s Nirvana Suite, which is on the second floor of the maternity building, College Street, Nuneaton, CV10 7GF. To book your place at the workshop email emma.cooke@geh.nhs.uk or telephone 024 7686 5256.
We regret that the event is not suitable for small children.
