A MESSAGE FROM COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE INTEGRATED CARE BOARD

Over the weekend we have been appalled by the racist and Islamophobic violence which has happened across the country, and completely condemn it.
Coventry and Warwickshire is a proudly diverse health and care system with staff from all over the world working together to support local people and communities and we stand with them in full support.
We value every person, as is explicit in the NHS Constitution, – whether patient, their families, carers, or staff – as an individual regardless of their background, and we work for the benefit of the whole community to make sure nobody is excluded, discriminated against or left behind.
We understand that some of you will be worried about your own safety as well as that of your families and colleagues. Across the ICS we take a zero tolerance approach to violence, intimidation and inappropriate behaviour of any kind and we will support you to speak up. We will listen and take action.
