COVENTRY AND WARWICKSHIRE HEALTH AND CARE PARTNERSHIP TO MEET IN PUBLIC

Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care System are holding their first Partnership Board meeting on November 5.

The newly-formed Partnership Board will see leaders in health and social care work more closely with local authorities and colleagues from the voluntary and community sector to improve the health and well being outcomes for the populations and communities they serve.

Rachael Danter, System Transformation Director, said: “We’ve listened to feedback from local people and made the decision that our Partnership Board meetings will be held in public, starting with our first meeting on November 5.

“We are keen to emphasise the strong commitment from our partner organisations to work more closely together and to make it easier for local people to understand who we are and what we will doing. As such we have decided there should be a new name for this partnership between the Coventry and Warwickshire’s health and social care organisations – the Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care System."

The Partnership was previously known as Better Health, Better Care, Better Value or the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership, sometimes referred to as STP.

The first board meeting will take place at 2pm on November 5, in the Clinical Sciences Building at University Hospital in Coventry.
