What happens next?
When the consultation ends, we will carefully look at all the feedback we receive. We will share the results and any decisions with the public and the staff working in these services.
Your voice matters. Together, we can create the best rehabilitation services for South Warwickshire. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Implementation of proposals
On the 19th March 2025, the ICB Board plans to meet to formally decide on the future of this service. Once a decision is made, we will create a detailed plan to guide the changes. This plan will include clear steps, timelines, and actions to make sure the new services are set up smoothly without causing problems. Right now, our plan focuses on how to fit the changes into the larger health system.
What will we focus on?
The plan will be led by South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT).
Key areas we will work on include:
1. Patient care
- Making sure patients continue to get good care during the changes.
- Training staff and updating care plans to match the new setup.
2. Hospital buildings
- Making any changes or repairs to hospital buildings, especially at Ellen Badger Hospital if Option A is chosen.
3. Moving beds
- Organising the move of beds to their new locations and making sure services are ready to work there.
Checking progress
We will regularly check how things are going to make sure everything stays on track. If needed, we’ll update the plan to fix any issues that come up. Our focus will always be on keeping care safe and high-quality during this time.#
Our goal
With good planning and a clear process, we aim to make these changes smoothly and efficiently. We’ll work hard to support patients, families, and staff throughout the process.
