Nigel Minns
Partner Member – Local Authorities (Strategic Director for People, Warwickshire County Council)
Nigel Minns has been Strategic Director for People in Warwickshire since September 2017. He is responsible for both adults and children’s services and public health.
He was previously Head of Education and Learning in Warwickshire; having held a similar position in South Gloucestershire.
He is a former primary school teacher; teacher trainer and local authority adviser and has represented national agencies in a number of roles. He has sat on various national Steering Groups, and spent time on secondment at the Department for Education on more than one occasion.
Nigel lives in Worcestershire and is married with three daughters.
