Ellie Monkhouse

Ellie joined the ICB in July 2024 from Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust where she was Chief Nurse and Executive Director for Quality Improvement. Ellie has over 10 years’ experience as a Chief Nurse in both provider and commissioning organisations across the North of England. Ellie has worked as a Chief Nurse in both outstanding and challenged organisations and has an interest and experience in Turnaround and Quality Improvement. Ellie is also an advocate for Workforce and Education and nurturing talent and has worked with aspiring leaders as a coach and mentor across the region and facilitating on aspiring leaders programmes.
Ellie’s clinical background started in Trauma and Orthopaedics, but has worked as a senior nurse in Urgent and Emergency Care and Neonatal Services in a large teaching trust. Ellie has also ventured into general and performance management roles on her career journey.
