Partner Member, Provider of Primary Medical Services (GP Partner)

I am a GP in Leamington Spa working within a large practice. I have played an active role in Strategic Commissioning within South Warwickshire ICB. I have been involved in population health delivery at a Primary Care Network level. I am a mother of 2 children, so understand the balancing act between work and home life. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, listening to podcasts and spending time with my family.

My practice is a large, culturally diverse and relatively deprived practice. We are a large training practice, of which I am involved in registrar and medical student training. We have two branch surgeries, one of which is a dispensing practice and thus I understand the complexities of the varying general practice models.

Within South Warwickshire ICB, I have been involved in working at board level to meet organisational, governance and financial responsibility. I have been GP lead for Mental Health, Patient Engagement, Equality and Diversity and was the Caldicott Guardian for the organisation.

I have been Clinical Director for Leamington South PCN, which has facilitated a population view of health management and delivery, involving engagement with various stakeholders.

I have experience of Out of Hours work, which I had regularly undertaken in Coventry for over 10 years.

I have enjoyed working across the whole remit of my work and the variety and skillset that it has brought and feel that it gives me good insight into patients’ needs within the context of national priorities and local issues.
